The Art Of Selling Dogs
Image was created using Canva
I stood calmly trying to figure out which category this particular couple fell in. The woman, who seemed like the main buyer here, which is usually the case, was the one with a finger in my face accusing me of trying to sell her a dog.
I looked at my wares, which actually were puppy food and toys and looked at them as though she tried to crack a joke.
The man who was whimsically looking at a toy bone must have noticed my confusion cause he explained.
"She meant you shouldn't try to lie to her."

Selling Gravity - All is fair in business

“So, what are you here for?”
The Hennas were exactly like men, but where men had ears, they had nothing. Instead, there were tiny antennas situated just above their brows, you could miss them if you didn't look closely. Their coloration was also slightly deep, they were more dust-colored than white, but besides these features, they were exactly like men.
“We need something really valuable. My master is ready to pay for it in gold.” The first Henna replied. He raised the lower part of his hoodie to show Zeb the small chunk of gold he had secured on his sticky body.

Fiction: Garlac, the little dragon

The dragon spread his wings, and the breeze coming from the big hole at the bottom of the cliff made him glide, diminishing the force of gravity. When it reached the bottom, it flew out of the hole and into the blue sky, flapping its wings vigorously. And flying beside him he could see Askulet's spirit fading away little by little.

A high-pitched, intermittent sound and the sensation of floating woke Mara and all the neighbors. Internal lights flickered on and off in the mirrors of each of the apartments.
Mara, Lira and Saul grabbed each other's hands and walked out into the hallway.
"We have to stick together. It's gravity that's changing".
"How is that possible, Mara?" Lira looked at her with wide eyes, trying to keep calm so as not to scare Saul, but he was very calm and seemed to enjoy what was happening.
"Don't be afraid; let's go look for the others". And they floated out, guided by Mara.

A Twist of Destiny.

Now, the bride and groom, please face each other to exchange your vows," the priest announced.
Donna turned towards the groom and her bouquet slipped from her hands to the floor. As she picked up the bouquet, her eyes remained fixed on the person standing before her—Xavier, not Reynold, all dressed up. Pinching herself slightly, she confirmed the reality. Her parents' smiles revealed they knew it was Xavier all along. A tingling sensation swept over her skin as she listened to him recite his vows, a smile playing on his lips.
She hurried through her vows, unable to contain her anticipation of discovering what had changed.

The Crying Nymph

"How is he doing that?" buzzed the villagers.
Airo kept walking and when he snapped his fingers, a sparkle of thousands of fireflies glimmered. The insects surrounded him as he walked, following him like he was their leader.
"The necklace that was stolen from me controls the gravity in this place!" Airo's voice was gone. It was replaced by a female's furious voice. "If you don't return it to me, everything here will lose its balance!"
