Also this has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.
I should have started when 10th edition launched!

Aeldari, Striking Scorpions
10th Edition Index
The Striking Scorpions are an Aeldari Aspect Temple which is predominantly male. They focus on Close Combat and they also infiltrate forward.
Their rules are simple and very synergistic with their own abilities.
It is 65pts for 5 of them or 130pts for 10 of them.
Stats
Movement 7"
Toughness 3
Save 3+/5++ (armor/invul/Feel No Pain)
Wounds 1 (2 for the Exarch)
Ld 6+
OC 1
Weapons
Options:
Everyone is armed with a Shuriken Pistol, Scorpion Chainsword and Mandiblasters.
The Exarch can either change the Shuriken Pistol for a Scorpions's Claw, meaning he has a built-in gun and then can choose between the sword and the claw to strike with.
Or... the Exarch can exchange the Shuriken Pistol and Scorpion Chainsword for a Biting Blade (A big two handed sword)
Ranged Weapons
Shuriken Pistol
12" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 3+, S4, AP-1 and 1 Damage each.
Pistol (This weapon can be shot while the model is within Engagement Range)
Assault (This Weapon can be fired after the wielder has done an Advance move)
Scorpion's Claw
12" Range, 2 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S4, AP-1 and 1 Damage each.
Pistol (This weapon can be shot while the model is within Engagement Range)
Assault (This Weapon can be fired after the wielder has done an Advance move)
Melee Weapons
Scorpion Chainsword
4 Attacks, Hitting on 3+. S4, AP0 and 1 Damage each.
Sustained Hits 1 (On a 6 to Hit, you generate another hit!)
Scorpion's Claw
4 Attacks, Hitting on 4+. S8, AP-2 and 2 Damage each.
Sustained Hits 1 (On a 6 to Hit, you generate another hit!)
Biting Blade
5 Attacks, Hitting on 3+. S5, AP-1 and 2 Damage each.
Sustained Hits 1 (On a 6 to Hit, you generate another hit!)
Abilities
Infiltrators - they can be set up in No Man's land as long as it is more than 9" away from the enemy deployment zone. (Basically near the centre objectives)
Wargear Abilities
Mandiblasters
When striking an enemy that is NOT a Monster or a Vehicle, they gain Devastating Wounds! So 6's do Mortal Wounds.
Thoughts
They are extremely well put together.
Let's go on pure Math... 10 Striking Scorpions charge into a unit of Primaris Intercessors.
9 x 4 Attacks is 36 strikes. On average 24 hits but 6 Crit on 6's so you get 30 Attacks.
On average this is 5 Crits to Wound, which result in 5 mortal wounds and an additional 10 Wounds at AP0.
On average the Space Marine player fails 3 savTotal of 8 wounds so 4 Dead Space Marines.
Then the Exarch will strikes either Claw or Biting blade. That should also kill a marine or two.
So basically 5 Space Marines down.
For an Aeldari unit, the Scorpions are also very tough! 3+ save and 5+ Invul... they are like the Terminators of the Aeldari.
That makes 22 Aeldari Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 30.55% Completed. The total Completed is 17.11% Complete! Can I review them all?!
