Sugar
After the party, Grace and I decided to walk home since we both lived close to the party venue. Sugar opted to escort us, and we agreed. But I was quiet most of the way because all he did was talk to Grace. When he noticed I was quiet, he walked up close and squeezed my hand,
“Hey, are you okay?” He asked.
I nodded and smiled, “yeah, I'm fine,” I said.

The race of the eagles
Saul was the tallest and strongest of the team. With his two-metre height, he outweighed us all. But he was also very balanced and honest.
"I don't think Mirlo will listen to me. He's blind, his ambition is to win at all costs".
"It's about winning in good conditions, not with this suffering. We are only five days away from the competition, and we are exhausted".
I didn't get an answer, they were too tired to answer.

The Fire Within...
About a week after the examination, we got our report sheets, and for the first time in five terms, I beat Solomon.
"I came first so you must be the second, right?" I asked out of excitement, but Solomon acted dumb holding his report sheet firmly.
I was persuading him to tell me when his new cliq came around and that was the end of our chat.
"George, I took second." Anuoluwapo, one of the girls we studied together, told me immediately after I returned to the classroom.

Wonders shall never end
“She's just a friend, babe…. I swear on my life that I'm just trying to help her out for the night.”
“Hmm mm”…. I responded with a stern look that I'm sure pierced through his soul.
“Which one is, hmm mm? She's a student here too and even live in the hostel."
"Really? What department is she, what's her name and what hostel does she live?"
She's in Intelligent and security studies (ISS), her name is Gloria, and she lives in Jungle lodge. My ex replied without hesitating.

Unmasking of Charles
A few days later, we woke up to devastating news of an inferno. Charles's shop was razed by a ravaging fire overnight.
As early as 6 a.m., people were gathered around the burned shop to sympathize with Charles on the loss. I followed my dad to the event. People, with some having their hands on their heads, were crying and wailing. Charles was leaning against his car. He was surrounded by people that were consoling him over the loss. I noticed that he was not really disturbed with the development. My dad and I returned home after expressing sadness over the loss. We prayed for him to get over it and emerge stronger.

What do you consider one of the best days you can remember?
There is nothing I love more than making money without stress so I agreed and went ahead to adjust the first storyline so it could leave room for a new story, then I went back to my meal and Bridgerton.
After such a heavy meal, I slept off naturally and was woken up by another call. This time, it was my boyfriend. He was at my gate.
“Get up and get dressed, we're going shopping” It was almost 5 pm. I wondered what kind of shopping we were going for by that time but if there was anything I knew about the man I was in love with, it was that spontaneity was his favorite card, so I always played along.
